DL My Heart Still Beats by Kevin Bewersdorf
This is the soundtrack for a movie about how technology disconnects us. Kevin Bewersdorf was also one of the main characters in the movie, and there is one of his performances as well. Like most of his other music it is extremely well produced and poppy music that seems to use mostly GM instruments. It tends to take things further than what you expect out of straight up midi however, by adding strange effects and vocals.

His music is no longer available from his website, due to the fact that it has now been converted to a 3 year long performance piece in which he slowly makes an animated gif of a flame smaller. His most recent in progress album babes can be found in bits and pieces around the web. I have also uploaded one of his older albums, slow dudes, which is no longer available.
